Mehlville Parents as Teachers is a parent education and family support program. We serve families throughout pregnancy until their child enters kindergarten. Family participation in the program is voluntary and services are provided free of charge.

Being a parent is hard work and we are ready to help you educate your child and prepare him for school. Your baby was born to learn and you are your child's first and most important teacher.
To enroll in Parents as Teachers, call (314) 467-5304.

Happy 30th Anniversary PAT
Congratulations to the Parents As Teachers organization of helping South County adults be the best parents they can be. The 30th anniversary celebration on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the John Cary Early Childhood Center included a special proclamation, the amazing Bubble Bus, plus the annual Things That Go! gathering that lets kids (and adults!) climb aboard fire trucks, police cars, construction machinery and even military vehicles.
